Terms of service.

These general terms apply to LaunchCraft Studio creative services. We confirm the deliverables, timing, price and any special conditions in a written quote before work begins. They are general business terms and not legal advice.

1. Scope and project brief

We provide the creative services described in the accepted quote. The client supplies accurate information, necessary materials and timely feedback. Work outside the agreed scope, including a substantial change in creative direction, will be discussed and separately quoted before any additional charge is incurred.

2. Quotes and payment

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Focused entry packages and quick services normally require full payment after scope confirmation and before production starts. Standard projects commonly use a 50% deposit and 50% before final delivery. Larger builds may use agreed milestone payments, commonly 30% / 30% / 30% / 10%. The accepted quote controls where it states a different structure. Unless a specific offer expressly states another currency, advertised prices and new studio quotes are in US dollars (USD); any applicable tax is stated before payment. Previously accepted written quotes retain their agreed terms. The Voice Academy founding membership is separately advertised at US$7.99 per month in US dollars. Custom song and standard book packages use the listed one-time prices in US dollars. You choose the advertised package and pay, then submit your detailed creative brief on the confirmation page. Production begins only after verified payment, a complete brief and agreement on the included scope. Work outside that scope requires a separate quote and your approval before any additional charge. Up to two revision rounds within the original brief are included. These package details take precedence over the general entry-package provisions below.

Personalised songs and standard books

For new standard orders: one song is US$15 with an estimated first draft in 3–5 business days; three songs are US$40 with first drafts in 5–7 business days. The US$75 standard book package includes a digital manuscript, writing or editing from supplied ideas/materials, basic manuscript formatting, DOCX and PDF files and two revision rounds, with an estimated first draft in 10–15 business days. Covers, illustrations, EPUB/print typesetting, publishing, interviews and extensive research require a separate quote. Estimates start after verified payment, an agreed brief and all required materials. Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays in Sydney. Revisions and customer feedback add time; final files follow approval. Confirm any fixed event date before paying. Previously accepted quotes and orders retain their agreed scope, currency and timing.

Book Publishing Package — US$199

This separate, one-time LaunchCraft service is for one complete, already-edited text manuscript of up to 100,000 words with a straightforward layout. Before checkout, you confirm the manuscript meets these requirements and accept the advertised scope. Payment is followed by your publishing brief and manuscript sharing; this package does not require studio manuscript approval before payment.

The package includes standard cover design with a paperback wrap and finished cover files; Kindle EPUB and paperback interior formatting with finished EPUB and print-ready PDF files; a book description and author bio; keyword and category guidance with a worksheet; guided submission through your own Amazon KDP account; a cover and interior preview for your approval; two rounds of cover/layout corrections; one promotional book graphic in three sizes; and an organised handover folder and publishing checklist. Writing, substantial editing, illustrated books, complex layouts, manuscripts over 100,000 words and printed copies are excluded. Work beyond the package needs a separate quote and your approval before any additional charge.

You own and control your KDP account and make the final submission yourself, with our guidance. Do not share passwords, account credentials, tax or bank details with the studio. LaunchCraft takes no share of royalties; Amazon’s royalty rules and applicable deductions still apply. KDP itself is free: the US$199 fee pays for LaunchCraft’s preparation and guidance. Amazon decides acceptance and review timing. Publication, sales and rankings are not guaranteed. No fixed delivery or publication date is promised. This scope is separate from the US$75 manuscript service and the US$69, US$123 and US$209 creative packages, and takes precedence over general package provisions where they differ.

Digital shop purchases

The lyric artwork (US$19), photo and lyric video (US$49) and artist release toolkit (US$29) use the one-time US-dollar prices shown on their product pages. Those pages define the included scope, formats, delivery estimates and revisions. Custom work starts after verified payment and complete materials; production estimates depend on timely feedback. An additional format or substantial change needs a separate quote before any extra charge.

The toolkit is a prepared ZIP emailed within one business day after verified payment, with self-service files and a non-exclusive licence for the purchaser’s own artist releases and promotion. Do not resell or redistribute the raw toolkit, templates or loops. No music distribution, placement or campaign results are promised. If an order is missing, faulty or does not match its description, contact hello@launchcraftstudios.com promptly. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that apply under consumer law.

3. Revisions and approvals

Creative Starter projects include one revision round. Creative Build and Launch Starter projects include two revision rounds. Custom projects include the number stated in the quote. A revision round is one consolidated set of reasonable changes within the approved brief. A new concept, new deliverable or change of direction may require a new quote. Clients should check names, dates, spelling, prices and links before approval.

4. Timing and delivery

Estimated delivery dates are agreed in the quote and depend on the scope, receipt of materials and timely client feedback. Any material delay or change will be communicated. Final files are provided in agreed formats. Editable source files, unused concepts and internal production files are not included unless expressly stated.

5. Intellectual property and supplied materials

The client retains ownership of materials they supply and confirms that they have the rights needed for the intended use. We will agree in writing on the rights granted in final deliverables after full payment. Third-party assets, stock media, fonts, AI-generated material, software and music may have separate licence conditions or limitations. We cannot transfer rights we do not own or guarantee copyright protection or exclusive ownership of AI-generated material. Any agreed attribution, usage restrictions or commercial licensing conditions will be identified in the quote or delivery documentation.

6. AI-assisted and third-party services

We may use professional software, automation and AI-assisted tools as part of our creative process. Material use and relevant licensing requirements will be discussed where they affect the intended project use. Publishing, distribution, advertising platforms and other third-party services have their own terms and approval processes. We do not guarantee acceptance, availability or continued operation of those services. Third-party fees and subscriptions are excluded unless expressly quoted.

7. Marketing outcomes

We do not guarantee sales, streams, views, followers, rankings, revenue or viral performance. Advertising spend, paid-campaign management, printing, distribution and third-party subscriptions are not included unless expressly agreed in writing.

8. Cancellation

Clients may request cancellation at any time. Where work has begun, an amount reasonably reflecting work completed and costs incurred may be payable or retained, subject to the circumstances and applicable consumer rights. We will provide a fair reconciliation of work and payments. Any statutory refund or remedy rights remain unaffected.

9. Confidentiality and portfolio use

We take reasonable care with confidential project information. We will request permission before publicly displaying client work in our portfolio. Unreleased or confidential material will not knowingly be published without authorisation.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantees and remedies apply where relevant. Any provision inconsistent with mandatory law is subject to that law.
